I eat this soup..
If I don't have home made soup.
Yea it is good
That is pretty good canned soup.
Have you tried the Chicken, gumbo and sausage? My favorite.
I have, I like it whenever I can find it.
I'm a big fan of Progresso soup .I also like the chicken with Rice and
Manhatten Clam Chowder.Maybe if we advertise it enough and rave
about it.They will send us a case.
Yea, I like those too.
If I knew that would get me a case, I wouldn't mind doing it..lol
I tried ramen noodles once and it was so salty, I poured it down the drain.
"it was so salty"
Most of the sodium is in the seasoning packet. That's why I use my own seasoning recipe.
I had never tried it before, so it didn't occur to me that there would be so much salt in the seasoning packet. If you look at most prepared foods, there's too much salt and/or sugar in them - even foods that are supposed to be "healthy."
I agree. Most "health foods" are unregulated scams that prey on the fears of the health-conscious.
Unless you grow your own food, you really don't have any idea whether it's "organic" or not.
I never touch them because of the huge amount of sodium in them. I have to keep as low of levels of sodium as possible as it aggravates my Meniere's disease.
Too much sodium causes and/or aggravates many health problems.
When I cook, I only use unrefined salt.
"down to ramen noodles" LMAO!...Yep, that's pretty much scraping bottom.
I eat them every now and then.
I'll have to try that, thanks, Gronk17.
I have never eaten ramen noodles.
If you ever get to try fresh-made Ramen noodles, I highly recommend.
When I make instant noodles, it's because I'm too drunk, hung over, lazy, or broke for a real meal, so I just use the packet it comes with.
Ramen is literally just Japan's version of Kraft Dinner. I mean, you wouldn't have Kraft Dinner as a real meal, you'd only make it for the reasons I mentioned above.
I use the flavor packet but I add a small can of mixed vegetables. It's actually pretty good.
I'll have to try that.
Ate that stuff in college, when I was dirt poor. Never had to eat it since.
Thanks for your reply.
Prefer homemade soups but if I don’t have any then I’m a sucker for the beef ramen noodles, lol
