From Jordan Peterson's 12 Principles for a 21st Century Conservatism speech, given in Carleton Place, Ontario on Thursday, June 15, 2017
A few good points but v b/w....
Excellent speaker. I agree with much of what he says, but he does seem to paint things with a broad brush at times.
Seems like the rambling of someone who is too fearful to face any challenges. He wants it all in neat little bundles with rules, guidelines and parameters that cannot be breached. He sees anything that deviates from his 'normal' as untenable.
Well life is not like that. His vision of success leads to just as much chaos as the false-dream that he attributes to all 'liberals'. He forgets that many 'liberals' are both smart and conscientious, and successful. And he forgets that all innovation comes from chaos. Without chaos nothing changes, nothing can be new, nothing can grow.
