Terrorism is a military tactic that plays on peoples' emotions. The tactic targets innocence. Our bombs and drones kill innocent people too, but when that happens it's a mistake. Our goal is to kill combatants, and you won't find up celebrating killing innocent people over here.
I agree. Americans don't just go out and kill innocent people, mistakes happen and when it does, we as a people are sick of it. But war is war and sometimes innocent people do get killed, but not deliberately by Americans.

Another interesting thing about that construct, it takes all the people willing to die for an ideal ("freedom," "law," "justice," etc.) and it lets them. It lets them die for that higher ideal. If I didn't know better, I might think that the same people aiming to kill a sh!t ton of people wanted the people willing to die for a higher ideal to die first. It's almost like they're categorized as the greatest immediate threat.

Americans don't just go out and kill innocents, that's what ISIS does. They put their women and kids out in an area where they know the Americans will be coming for them so they can hide behind them like the cowards they are, and then when the innocents are killed they blame the Americans.
