I’ve watched endless commercials on non stick pans. Gotham Steel being just one. These pans should barely be called pans. I can see using a 10” pan for a single omelette. That’s about it. Why aren’t they offering bigger pans? If I’m seriously cooking at home odds are I’m cooking for more people than just me. We are talking pans that barely fit three eggs.. just make them bigger and I’ll buy one.
A ten inch pan is what fits a standard burner. If it is bigger there is uneven heat distribution.
Non stick sucks, get a cast iron and keep it well seasoned :)
Hey brother. I agree. Though I’d love to try a big copper. And yes old fashioned Teflon based non stick sucked. There was a time that I only cooked in an old seasoned wok. The new ones look cool. But they are tiny.

Don't trust them, they all stick. They spew their lies and fake promises but in the end they all stick....
I use regular pans.
If something sticks..you're not using enough olive oil.
I'd rather eat olive oil than non-stick.
Even if it sticks (say you dont want to use a lot of oil) you could scrub the living crap out of it with no consequences

I usually just put a little water in the pan after I'm finished, while it's still hot, rarely ever do any real scrubbing.
I quit using those pans when I noticed what I was cooking, looked like it had pepper on it.. when I hadn't put any on it yet.
They can coat a pan with something NASA came up with or whatever else, I'm not using it.
Gotham has a 12-1/2" fry pan for $30 if you want to give it a try.
And then those advertizements claim the pans are all but indestructable, and you find out after a few months, that they are no longer non stick and need to be replaced.
