I heard my mom say "ass"...once. she always said there are more intellegent ways to express yourself.
Lesson not learned.
Oh...my dad, he could cuss. And did:)
Never heard mine use the f bomb, though. Sonofabitch....alot.
Dad never yelled at us. He left that to mom. But then, he was gone before we were at the age to cause him grief.
No not in front of mom. She would be disappointed in me. That is the worse:[
And im almost 60 years old.
Yes. At least within their bubble.
Mom always said smoking was unlady like. I bet your dad, at some time, expressed the same sentiment.
Too funny!!! Neither of my parents smoked, neither do I, but my mom used to keep a pack of Winstons around to smoke after they got in an argument, just to piss him off!! LOL!!
Ha! Mom never smoked either, but as a young woman always carried a pack with her, to offer if one was wanting.
You must have been a late in life baby. My grandad was born in 02.
That declaration was made exactly 40 years before my date of birth.
On the money.
You WERE a late in life baby boy. Especially in those days.
Yep. I'm 60. Mothers were great back then
My mom is still great.
I meant the "concept" of what mothers were.
My mom was taken to the ER yesterday. Fainted. She's in the hospital as we speak. She's 83, and OK.
Im glad she is okay. Mine is 89. Failing, but gracefully.
A friend when I was growing up.
Tommy...he was deaf.
I couldn't read sign language but when someone puts on a face, like someone just poked them in the chest, then squeezes a cinnamon roll so hard, it starts oozing out between their fingers..
Pretty sure he wasn't saying...."Hi, how's it going?".
I bet not...
One thing about it.
That kid sure could play some mean pinball..
I had a sweet grandmother, too. Only got to know her until i was 7. Then she left us.
I remember her fondly, though.
I was around 20 when I heard my mother say the "F" word for the first and ONLY time. I was totally mortified and traumatized...lol.
Yes..the f bomb from mom!!
I would have passed out
She was fighting with my dad. She crawled out from under his thumb one day
Good for her.
Yep. My dad was a former army drill instructor, and a real a-hole at times.
My parents and my sons.
Good boys. I will bet they just want to make you proud:)
My Mom and my grandparents.
Several uncles, paternal grandparents, my mom
The disease..yes a downer.
Knowing your grandmother could practice restraint, not so.
We should all be so gracious.
If you'd asked me a couple of months ago, I'd have said my grandmother...
But I recently witnessed her curse for the first time. She blurted out the word ass and I think she immediately regretted it. I thought it was hilarious.
Ha! Same as mom. But i heard it many years ago.
I had to stop a second, at first I thought I misheard her, I almost didn't believe it. Then her face turned so red, she didn't believe it either. Too funny...
Random strangers whom I may never see again.
