Have you ever read a book that was SO GOOD that it "ruined" reading for you for awhile because no other book could compare?

Yes I think 'A Confederacy of Dunces' did that to me some. Read way back in 1990.

I wrote an excellent manual for cleaning your digestive system with alcohol.

After I read, what I had written, I felt... Oh, shit, after this, I can't read another manual, ever.
