I hate happy people. Life isn’t supposed to be happy and filled with sunshine,

There are some holidays when it is totally weird to put "happy" in front of them, such as "Happy Labor Day!" or "Happy Columbus Day!"

"War on Christmas" Why are people so protective over a holiday that revolves around spending money and being stressed out? Don't give me that whole cheesy movie cliche, "but that's not what Christmas is about!" Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're reminded of that every single year by the same boring movie plot and yet...
every year
people still get trampled. Not just stepped on, but
trampled!
So that said, if you're one to get angry because you think people say, "Happy Holidays" because they're afraid of offending others, try fighting for a better cause. Nobody is restricting you from wishing people a Merry Christmas. But when you do, promote the values of love and giving that the holiday is supposedly about,

Scientific research has discovered that the concept of nostalgia sets off a positive chemical reaction in the brain, making the mind slightly/temporarily happy. This means that even if it was something you didn't like (like a boring old TV show), just the nostalgia from remembering it can make you happy. That being said, 90's kids need to realize that not
everything
was better when they were younger; it could simply be the nostalgia factor that makes the older things seem better.
