Walmart opening on Black Friday?..
Thanks, for your reply.
"Whiskey barrels are piled in a heap Wednesday, July 4,2018, after the rest of the Barton 1792 Distillery, a whiskey storage warehouse, collapsed in Bardstown, Kentucky, nearly two weeks after part of the decades-old structure came crashing down. No injuries were reported in either collapse, said Nelson County Emergency Management spokesman."
Never would've guessed it was that.
Looks like a sinkhole filled with some random giant's toothpicks.
A stinkhole filled with giant's toothpricks?!..Man, you need some help. Jk...Thanks, Zonk.
I did a goggle search and this is what I found..https://www.visitbardstown.com/ doesn't look right so I will guess it is a solar collector . On top of the landfill. So many landfills are now using gas coming out of that trash as fuel.
Thank you for that info this is the cause of the shortage in whiskey? Glad all I would ever drink isn't that
The collapsed warehouse where thousands of barrels of bourbon were stored.
You're good, real good...May I ask how you came to that conclusion? : )
I don't know about her, but somebody posted it on my facebook.
I don't have an active Facebook account. I guess when I heard about the collapse, it was already old news. : )
The first half of the warehouse collapsed earlier in the week. The second half collapsed yesterday and they showed the photo in the newspaper.
I wonder if the distillery will try to capitalize on this.
In what way? I'm sure they must have business insurance. The question is how long it will take them to produce more bourbon.
It looked like many of the barrels are intact.
Not sure - I can't seem to enlarge the photo enough to see.
When it was shared with me on facebook you could see it well. I didn't see any broken ones.
I searched for the article on line and found better photos. The top barrels might have survived, but the ones on the bottom surely didn't. Each barrel contains 53 gallons. That much weight on top of the bottom ones would surely crush the barrels at the bottom. They said that about 800 fish were killed when the bourbon leaked into the streams. They have pretty much contained it in holding pools, but I doubt the remains are saleable.

Aren't those the alcohol barrels? What a waste...
Yes...Not all the barrels were damaged.
It's awful, I know, but I laughed so hard when they mentioned it may have contaminated a local waterway. Sheesh... could you imagine??? lmao
I guess it could be a flop...Thanks, Deigo.
