The original yes, but Link to the Past had some brutality to it too, especially the dark dungeons. If I didn't have game guides, i'd probably get lost looking for every item i needed! Though i hear Adventures of Link is still the hardest.
Haha I'm a Sonic fan as well, but Sonic RIders is one of my favorite things on Earth. Sonic has some of my favorite and least favorite titles ever, a rollercoaster franchise honestly.
My gaming began somewhere around 2002-2003, I had no computer till I was 12 so I kept going to the arcades. Back in those days the creme of the crop were games like GTA 3, Counter Strike 1.5, Half Life later GTA Vice City.
But among those games my favorite one is a bit unappreciated, it's Max Payne 2: The fall of Max Payne. Although I was just a kid I was enthralled by the story, the drama, the pain and especially the gameplay. I'm so crazy about this game that I still have it and play it, I know ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING there is to know about this game.
I was surprised because I didnt think it was very popular, I know you're a developer. And if you were working at rockstar I'd beg you to pitch the idea of Vice City with a new engine :D
That's hard to say, but my favourite game series is Ratchet & Clank on the PlayStation consoles, I have the whole series so far too. Also a big fan of Gran Turismo as well. I've owned many consoles, but my favourite is between the SNES and PS2. Helps being born in the early 90s when technology advanced so quickly nostalgia makes it seem older than it is, even though it's just a little over 20 years ago I began my gaming conquest. :p
I love most of the Sony classics, such as Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, R&C as i said, Sly Cooper, Jak & Daxter, Gran Turismo (I also have all the games, including GT: Sport!, but not the ones on the PSP). Other favourites on PlayStation were Assassin's Creed as well, got the first, the Ezio Trilogy, and the next ones III and IV.
Sure i had my Nintendo consoles up to GameCube, never had a Wii/Wii U, but i'm looking forward to the Switch at some point. Never had an Xbox console, probably won't start with the One heh.
Same here, I still have my original ps2. What's funny is I never really played the classic games (was more into MGS 2 & 3, Bond and Shadow of the Colossus etc.) until I gifted it to my son. If you ask him what console is his favorite, he'll say the ps2. I'm inclined to agree. The Thievius Raccoonus was the first game he ever played, it was a great series.
Super Smash Bros. was always a favorite. I was surprisingly pleased with the Xbox One and mostly because there's a ton of older games available for download on the store. But on the whole, I'm team playstation :)
Personally, I'd say GTA 5 is probably the best game made so far, but it's definitely the best game I've played.
They re-released the original Doom on the Xbox One as a download. Too much fun!

I remember that game. Ever played L.A. Noire? It's a bit old, but if you liked Max Payne 2, you'd probably really enjoy it.

Deadlocked was outstanding, I still have it. My son and I play it on the ps2 all the time. We enjoyed Jack and Daxter too.
