Boys are falling behind to girls, so that immediately translates to someone is pushing them back? I'm sorry, but no. Girls were the ones being pushed back before, and now they're not. They're coming to the front, that's just logical, but that doesn't mean boys are being pushed back. There is just a bigger variety at the front. But if boys are indeed falling behind, which I doubt, then let's speak about parenting and what are parents teaching their kids. But I guess, if someone thinks "femininity" is rewriting history to make it seem like "men oppressed women", then that statement would seem plausible so don't even bother thinking about parenting. You literally have to be completely ignorant of History to believe that's accurate. No one needs to rewrite history to make it seem like men oppressed women, that actually happened. It still does in plenty of countries.
Boys being misdiagnosed with ADHD has nothing to do with "a movement to destroy masculinity". This is a health issue, not political or social. Look at your Doctors, look at the information on your medical field. If it's lacking, then work on it. If boys are more energetic than girls in general, then the doctors have to take that into account when diagnosing them. If they're not, then fix that.
The problem with competitive behaviour is if you're incapable to keep it in civil terms. Like he said, if it's kept in the rules, it's fine. The problem is, it's not kept in the rules. The USA has many virtues, but one of its biggest flaws is the aggressiveness and the hostility in it. How quick does the USA public jumps to anger? We can see it every day how quick people are to become hostile with one another. It's not about the masculinity. It's the temperament of the society. Plenty of other countries keep competitions without it becoming an issue.

They grabbed actual issues and blamed something that is not the creation of it. I mean, congrats to them, they know how to pander to most of their audience. But fuck them for using actual problems who people should really look into, just to turn this into another "the whatever-party is destroying us".

They want to talk about men being oppressed? Let's talk about the expectations shoved down our throat depending of what you have between your legs. Let's talk about double standards. Let's talk about sexism (Misandry and Misoginy) and how that affects men. Let's talk about men's hostility against each other. Those were the things they should be talking. But they're not, because this is not about caring about men. This is about turning people against the left, it's about dividing the country even more, it's about bringing more hate and anger to the table.
A piece of advice to the parents of American boys? I slightly agree with Peterson. It's just logical to parenting in general. Every kid, boy and girl, should be supported by their parents and encouraged to be competent, to rely in themselves, and to keep going even when things look bad. Now where I disagree: do keep your kid in class when equity, racism, white supremacy and things of the such are being taught. Ignorance will not help your kid in this situation. That is part of History and it still happens. They should be aware of it. Making them not learning it is pretty much you trying to rewrite history. If the educational system is lacking though, that's another issue that it should be looked into. Now my piece of advice: teach your kids about propaganda and indoctrination. That should help them notice the signs when it's being done to them when they watch the "news".

I will always support anyone that is working to take down social issues like oppression of any kind... this is just not it.

Edit: sorry for the long comment. It's a pet peeve of mine when stuff like this is done so I tend to elaborate where I see the bullshit.
