My cat refuses to listen to anything but Beethoven's fifth, classy little prick.
Our dogs absolutely love it when Mrs. Budwick sings to them. Imagine how a mother would sing a lullaby to a baby - that's what this is like. The pups, all three of them jockey for position next to Mrs. Budwick who will sit on the floor. Always in the same place, I think that's how they know it's Momma singing time. Then Mrs. Budwick will quietly sing a song. I've heard "You are my sunshine" many times, but there are others too. And I think if she were to use that same tone, she could sing the words to a lawn mower operation manual - I don't think the words matter. The love and affection and attention of Mrs. Budwick, who they adore is what matters. Once in a great while, our Husky will join in with the song, but usually not. It's a 'Hallmark' moment every time.
Those pups are probably glad to have their mum on the floor with them for a bit.
My boy hates ALL classical music, especially compositions dominated by string instruments. Anything else, he OK with.
I have a cat that will leave the room when my SO plays country music. The same animal doesn't protest when I play ambient or electronic music...
Your cat has good taste. :)
For some reason every cat I’ve ever owned has loved this song.
My favorite album, yes I have the original on vinyl and on any day I can't get going I put that on a wail along with them.
I have a cat. My brother has a cat and two dogs that I feed while he is away. They do not discuss their preferences with me but I leave the tv on anyway, just so the empty house won't be totally silent. I would not watch that drivel, but it's ok for dogs. (The cats don't show up much.)
I don't have any pets
Hate for all species of life? Or simply haven’t had the opportunity?
I live in a dorm room most of the year and don't have enough money to properly take care of one. I wish i could have one, but I can't at this point in time.
My cats and parrot love hard rock.
