I'd like to save for a rainy day..
Buy the island of Namur and live in peace.
They may be willing to sell cheap, if global warming continues. Just show them this article.
"To make accurate projections, such modeling requires field data for validation and calibration. Roi-Namur, an island with a mean elevation of 2 m above mean sea level (Fig. 2A), was selected as the study site for this effort because it recently experienced wave-driven marine flooding (9, 11) and an existing suite of groundwater monitoring wells provided a detailed understanding of the hydrogeology and groundwater resources (18). We conducted a field campaign on Roi-Namur from November 2013 to May 2015 to collect the requisite data to calibrate and validate the models."
Can't do it because it doesn't exist as would be my own design.
Read that forever and a day ago...never saw the movie.
Might catch up with it next year. I've quite a list of both books and movies/videos.
Yeah, that's all I can do right now. It's hit or miss. Tried to link a movie I watched recently and it's been scrubbed.
Yeah, they've been scrubbing a lot, striking a lot, banning a lot...
It's disgusting. All of Big Tech is going beyond ridiculous.
On the upside, Brazil is fighting back with FB. (Translated page, hope the link works.)
A Brazilian court ordered FB to reinstate some people/pages they removed. Gave them five days. Daily fines for non-compliance. Beyonf day 10, fines will be increased and other civil and criminal penalties may be imposed.
What gets me is that sometimes...not always, but sometimes, the alternatives are better. I've been opting out and using alternatives for a long time now. Problem is, despite whatever anyone agreed to upon signup, Big Tech has gone too far. There are effective monopolies, and even paid services are suddenly jerking accounts, and for things that are not violations, often withput warnning or even notice. People are losing their income sources. And the BT biggies are colluding to target people. Now banks have gotten in it, too.
Sadly, you are only one of two I know who understands the history of corporations. 😕
HA HA HA! I've been pretty much on my own here on that one...did I tell you how much I love having you here? 😘
Ah. A bit too advanced for me. My tastes run much more rustic.
