My favorite from the 70's because I was a contestant.
How did you get on?
There was a big audition and eliminations. Well worth it, though ... I won!
Jeopardy, Theres barely any bullshit, no stupid sob stories, just good challenging trivia and people way smarter than me.
Most extreme elimination challenge.
"Most Extreme Elimination Challenge (MXC) is an American comedy television program that aired on Spike TV from 2003 to 2007. It is a re-purpose of footage from the Japanese game show Takeshi's Castle which originally aired in Japan from 1986 to 1990."
The commentary cracks me up.
Jeopardy never took off over here. They did try it.
The only one I watch is Price Is Right and that's because it comes on when I'm having lunch. lol
Who Wants To Be a Millionaire
Called Blankety Blank over here.
Jeopardy and then Millionaire. WE all watch them and learn something new everyday.
My whole family used to compete with each other when Jeopardy came on. My brother discovered the TV downstairs got the station from the neighboring county, which aired Jeopardy 1/2-hour before ours did. He started watching it downstairs and then blowing us away by answering everything correctly. Asshole!
Whammy (press your luck) was one of my faves as a kid. Also The Price is right with Bob Barker. Dog Eat Dog, jeopardy, who wants to be a millionaire, Amazing Race... There were some of my faves as a kid.
Sorry my favorites are not UK. But my favorite moment was. I think I’ll look them up on YouTube and watch. 🙂
Past: Family Feud, The Price is Right, past & present The Match Game, The Wheel of Fortune, but this is the ultimate game show moment... watch the whole episode to get the full affect of how funny it is. It’s a build up of realization. It’s funny. https://www.youtube.com/attribu...eature%3Dshare
