If I were outside in the 40 below weather...no.
Inside a warm house... no problem.
I hardly ever eat ice cream in winter.
Inside yes, on a dessert sounds delicious. But I wouldn't need ice cream outside on any given day.
If it's 40 below outside, I'll be inside where it's 70 degrees, the same temperature that the house will be if it's 110 outside. A bowl of ice cream tastes the same.
