kinda looks like a mosin Nagant but too short and semi auto, it certainly isn;t an sks, it does look like a russian make though. im not super knowledgeable though on rifles

It's an M1 Garand...The one pictured was manufactured in the U.S.A. by Springfield Armory.

Good guess...It's an M1 Garand...The M1 Carbine and the M1 Garand have a lot of similarities.
