For example, someone you know orders a pizza. Everyone gets some, but there is a lot leftover and you are struggling not to eat the leftovers.
Using the example you gave.
I always have 2 slices of pizza.
I could eat three but I know I will feel miserable, later if I do.
I think about that and that's good enough to stop me from doing it.
What if it is something else, not related to food?
I'm not sure I do anything I'm not supposed to do.
Things for example you do in private that you don't do in public.
I guess I would just think about the negativity of it..
I struggle every time I go to the grocery store to NOT buy potato chips, sometimes I give in to temptation, though.
Running out of money will put a damper on it.
