Also about earth and light years+128Within our own Milky Way galaxy, there are over a billion stars. Each star ranges from 100 km to millions km in diameter and each individual star is light years apart from its 'neighbour'. Scientists, with the use of the Hubble space telescope, estimate that there are over 100 billion galaxies within the universe. In comparison, the earth is only around 13,000 km in diameter. After you get over the initial "mind blown moment", you realize just how small and miniscule we are. amirite?
Also about planet, earth, and light years+591They've just discovered a planet that is only 20 light years away in a solar system like ours that is about the same size as Earth and the right distance from it's star so that it could have liquid water. The chances of this planet having life are more then 50%. This is the most important discovery of the year, but it will be under reported, amirite?
Also about planet and light years+192Instead of feeling small and worthless for being just one planet in a universe so expansive, we should walk proud knowing that nowhere in 15 billion light years of space is there anyone quite like us, amirite?
Also about earth and light years+283Aliens exist, but they didn't come millions of light years
just to see earth, it'd be like driving 1000 miles to go to a McDonalds, amirite?
Also about planet and light years+458"The Force" is weird. How come a Jedi can detect a planet being destroyed light years away but can’t tell he is kissing his own sister? amirite?
Also about million light years+417When you wish upon a star, you're a few million light years too late. That star is dead, just like your dreams, amirite?
