Does the double jeopardy clause protect officials from being impeached on charges they've already been indicted on, or does it not count for some reason, like the fact that impeachments and indictments are tried before different courts?

"Double Jeopardy" only applies to courts. Congress (not a court) is in charge of impeachments. Therefore "double jeopardy" does not apply.
