Also by jaime+13The far right and the moderate left believe basically the same thing: that there's a corporate shadow government which now controls the media, the government, and the "free" market, and which, to achieve that control, has secretly perpetrated every socioeconomic injustice in the history of our country, and to some extent even farther back. The core difference is that the far right wants to call that corporate shadow government "the jews," wants to blame EVERY jewish person for its existence, and wants to blame the victims of those past injustices for being unconsenting coconspirators. amirite? Also about double jeopardy+10It's unfair to judge the same quality as bad in some people, but good in others. While a good willed person would be called persistent, a bad willed person is considered stubborn. It's putting them in double jeopardy, amirite?
Also by jaime+14While admittedly effective at allowing arbitrarily large storage devices, PMIO storage creates a bottleneck. This bottleneck could be resolved by regressing to bank-partitioned MMIO storage, as was the practice with ROM cartridges. Additionally, the recent advent of NVRAM has opened up the possibility of writable MMIO storage, which was a challenge in the age of ROM cartridges. However, with the recent shift in conventional software development education toward high-level work, it's unlikely that drivers supporting NVRAM MMIO will ever be mainstreamed, and NVRAM will likely remain port-mapped.

Also about double jeopardy+6A result of people judging others too quickly is that we subject people to double jeopardy; one inner issue of theirs may cause many external issues, but people will judge them for every external issue without realizing that they're all the same thing, Amirite?
Also about charges+86It doesn't make sense to charge huge overdraft charges everyday and for every item that made me go over. If I already went over the amount in my bank account and I'm trying to pay that back, how do you expect me to ever catch up with your charges too? amirite?

Also by jaime+24Most calls for communism or other kinds of socialism in the US are owed to discontentment with the observation that the free market has been commandeered for the private interests of the select few. However, if we were to adopt communism, the same thing would happen to the means of distribution very shortly. Therefore, perhaps the solution to economic inequality and corruption is to periodically switch economic systems, the way people switch passwords. That way, corporate and government entities alike will have no time to work out ways to abuse the system before it abruptly swaps out on them. amirite?
Also about reason and fact+9The reason independent candidates don't get elected is because nobody votes for them. The reason nobody votes for them is because they base their voting on the fact that other people also won't vote for the independent. If people voted for the people they actually wanted to be elected instead of choosing the lesser evil, the world would be a better place. amirite?
