Guess there must be, for those do it. I had an uncle by marriage, who bragged a lot about what he had..and how much stuff cost. It really bugged me, when I was a little kid. As I got older, I realized he probably did that because he had so little when he was growing up.

Maybe that's the same for a friend. I have been hanging out with a coworker going through a hard time and he keeps bringing up what he pays for stuff.
I wish he understood he is my friend whether he has one dollar or a million
I guess it would be awkward to just tell him that, or have you?

I don't feel any need to do it.
I don't know anyone that does that but if that makes someone happy in their own mind, I'd rather them brag, instead of going batshit crazy.
