there were about 15,000,000 native Americans in north America when Columbus hit land. When you divide that by the 56,0000,000 square acres of allocated Indian reservations you get 3.73 acres per Native American. That number was when Native Americans were in their population prime. Some lawyers today would consider this a fair deal, plus reservations govern themselves making their own laws. If you ask me they have more rights then American citizens.
Nope. My ex was Chippewa. His Ma lived on the res, where poverty and alcoholism were rampant.
I needed an experienced point of view … thank you. Spiritually I love natives … do they really get checks just for being part of the tribe???The Seminole's seem like a huge success
Their beliefs, myths, and ways have always drawn and fascinated me. They are no different than the rest of us, though...there are good, bad, and ugly amongst them.
There are benefits, including a cut of casino proceeds. What depends upon tribe and %age of blood.
I mean... it's the chiefs fault if it's not awesome
I guess no one has been to an Indian casino
