I am used to people that I care deeply for leaving. I know if I would have paid more attention and controlled my anger that wouldn't be the case.
Sometimes really nice people are taken for granted too.
I agree Peas, I speak from experience. I'm taken for granted all the time.
Same here Starz. No one could have told me that the death of my parents would end a whole family as I knew it. But then I also have to think of the gains I have in life like my little grandson and a SIL that I love.
I've lost so many people in my life. I had 5 sisters, and only one is still living. So sad.
My husband's health isn't good, and that's such a worry for all of us.
This is the toughest part about not being young. I'm sorry about your husband. I hope he will get better.
Thanks for your kind words. No, he won't improve.
I am truly sorry. That is not easy at all. :(
Thanks, it's very hard, but I have faith that things will turn out OK.
Don't be too hard on yourself.
Such is the ebb and flow of life. It's always good when a really hard time comes to an end, but it can be very painful when you realize certain people and happy experiences are just a memory too.
Getting older makes me appreciate the little things, knowing how fleeting life can be. I also realize that some relationships end because we got stronger and it takes time to understand that.
Good topic Starz and I hope you are looking forward to the weekend. The weather got really pretty here in Pa.
It really is a beautiful day and the humidity came way down.
Great comment Peas, and you're so right.
Hope you enjoy your weekend too. It's pretty hot here, we're hoping we get a good rain soon, or we'll have to start watering the yard....AGAIN. lol I'm so ready for Fall.
We have had some incredible flash flooding here, so the sunshine and low humidity in the forecast for the next several days is welcomed.
It's normal to miss people and things from the past. Most of the reason I love music so much is because it puts a time stamp to my memories.
I love music too, life would be very dull without it.
ALL things come to an end. So who ever sold us the lie that collecting stuff is a good idea?
Wow, I couldn't have said it better about myself. I've learned a lot....
Living forever, like this, would be a fate worse than death.
Death ends it all.
But, if God is good, righteous, and holy as his own Scripture claims him to be, regardless of what we fallen, flawed humans think of that, and he and his Word are bothe eternal....well, then it would seem it is never-ending.
Good for one, not so good for another.
