I'm not a big fan of Megan Fox, but I thought her last comment in this article was very interesting: amirite?
"Being a mother is not something really respected in this industry. If anything it's considered as a handicap," she said. "And that's unfortunate because it's not acknowledged, what we're juggling, what we're doing."
There is something to what she says, but I think having actors for parents is a bigger handicap for the child, given how psychologically screwed up many actors are.
It must be a whole different world. I can't really comprehend going into hibernation for a period of time because someone didn't like me, but I'm just a Joe Smoe working for a living. :)
Well, working for a living has a tendency to keep you too sensible to understand things like that.
