True. I actually don't mind the wait if I'm not in a big hurry ... I love trains and their history.
I was watching Joel McCrea and Veronica Lake a couple weeks ago in Sullivan's Travels and there was a boxcar with the T & NO name on it. I had to know what that meant so I googled it - Texas & New Orleans RR.
Cool! I fell in love with trains in the 1950's. My grandpa was a railroad detective, and we did a lot of train travel .... best dining and sleep ever for a child.
Your grandpa being a railroad detective, no less, is way cool
I was always busy counting the cars...I've never thought about reading what is printed on them until now.
Yup. Me, too (about counting them)... and who doesn't like trains?
I like trains...They're also good for kneading pennies (I've put coins on railroad tracks).
