seriously though I think things like the renting process and credit scores are whats unjustly leading people to homelessness, if we rely on capitalism to provide a house for everyone it only makes sense that so many people are homeless. Investors will never build enough houses for everyone because they control the supply and demand , if they build enough homes they would be forced to sell them cheap,so they don't and they leave us to compete which forces many people to be left in the cold. These homeless people you see probably choose the way they live because they have been taken advantage of their whole lives and would rather die outside they pay SOMEONE else's mortgage
No, not everyone who doesn't work is homeless.
There are millions of retired pensioners who aren't homeless.
to be honest your pension is gonna screw over the next generation. inflation over the last 50 years is about 400 % … no investment plan cant beat that
my number was a guess but the long term average from 1910 till now is 2275%
You are right about inflation statistics, but in those same periods, the Dow was up from 1000 in 1970 to 27,000 today, up 2700% in 50 years (vs 400% inflation), and up from 100 in 1910, or 27000% (vs 2275% inflation), so a properly invested retirement account should easily beat inflation.
Plenty of people have income without working for it.
I know and more people work with minimal income
The system is flawed.
