Sleeping is the only thing I can think of where "Fake it till you make it" works.

Don't try and stress about not getting enough sleep or whatever.

Just try and lie comfortably.

That's great advice that I've been given.

I pretend when my son tries to stay awake. I do actually fall asleep.

This actually works for me. Pins and needles kick in and I lie there wondering if I can astral project. So I wait and focus, seeing what happens. Ten minutes and I'm knocked flat out.
