We got lucky that metals are also malleable otherwise we would have to rewire all over again if the wire broke from one point. amirite?

The wire always breaks from one point. And we engineer the metal to bend into shapes.

The nature of metallic element molecules makes them more maleable. The electron sharing make a big difference.

We make wires from metal because it is malleable and conductive. If it wasnt, we wouldnt have used it in the first place. So more planning than lucky really.
