Kicking around on a piece of ground in your hometown. Waiting for someone or something to show you the way... Everyday is getting shorter. Never seem to find the time... The sun is the same, in a relative way, but you're older. Shorter of breath and one day closer to death.
I think about this but only with my dogs and my parents. Every birthday they have, I lowkey dread it. If that makes sense.
Same
I also feel this away about your parents and dogs.
Oh god now I thinking about it
There's an entire chapter in Jordan Peterson's book about this.
About what? Dreading your dogs or parents bday? Or one specifically?
Every year you pass by the anniversary of your death date and never even realize it.
Yeah but it's more like a... Negaversary
hopefully that day is soon
You never know it when you die just like how you never know how you fall into sleep
You'll know it has passed if you make it to 55.
The few people who have lived past 110 would like a word with you.
My statement has over 99.9% accuracy I'm okay with that.
I'm not sure what day, but I'm certain that day has come and gone (unless I'm destined to live to the ripe old age of 146).
Thanks.

Pink Floyd
Oh that has probably come and gone, all things considered.
One day, your parents set you down and never picked you up again.
One day you will die, and you won't know that day
You will die and you don't know when.
Maybe we've past it already.
