Also by Toounknown-69Instead of multiple life sentences for sick criminals they should have tiers of uncomfort ...something like after 20 years we will take the nails off your bed ... Or life sentence with cold food... amirite?
Also about science and faith+74Atheists: It is incredibly annoying when theists try to poke holes in science and show how we're stupid to believe that. At least we have evidence, no matter how little, to prove something, all they have is faith. What sucks the most is we can't make this argument back without sounding like another one of those pretentious douchebags trying to shove Atheism down everyones throat, amirite?

Also about science and faith+55Aside from the peculiarity in the fact objections only arise once it contradicts their religious belief, it doesn't make sense for someone of faith to all of the sudden become staunchly analytic of science and its findings. Say they do find the specific evidence for a scientific theory not to be compelling and even poor evidence altogether; previously, faith was a great virtue. So, it's ironic the skeptics they then become. It's important to discuss, then: Why the double standard? amirite?
Also about science and faith+258Many scientific theories are taken on faith, you can't prove everything, science only tests what we can touch and see and measure, it has limitations, and science isn't in conflict with faith, but it seems a lot of people like to argue that way. Faith is confidence, conviction, being sure, and it cannot be proven with science, science is limited, that's where faith steps in. amirite?
Also about science and faith+186Even aside from religion, people must have some sort of faith, whether that be faith in science, in the five senses, in the reliability of the human memory, or faith in history and the truth of what other people tell us, amirite?
