They do! The lion law is that the old est lion eats first. The money law is that when the old est monkey shows his teeth, you gotta do it back to pay respect. Pinguin law is you gotta give your mate a pretty rock before bonding

Maybe that is why you get ant swarms. They are all gathering to hold a hearing on the atrocities committed by humans. Feel bad that most of the time, before they have even covered a day of human-ant violence they are discovered and wholesale murdered by another human. 10/10 for effort on the little guys part though, they just schedule another hearing and add this most recent anticide to their book of grudges. They will have the last laugh though, one day humans will have wiped themselves out and the ants will finally recite every one of the litanies of atrocity that have been done to them.
