There were only 76 years of slavery in the United States (Source: David Horowitz’s book Blitz. 1787 the date of our constitution to the Emancipation Proclamation 1863) while there were thousands of years of slavery in Africa before white people ever sat foot there which makes the United States a pretty hip place and a place that was working to destroy that institution, amirite?
