Since Washington DC is a federal district, as is the land occupied by the Capitol, law enforcement is just as insufficient across DC as it was at in the Capitol at the time of the insurrection. And that is a strong demonstration that DC needs to become either a State, or a part of Maryland for sufficient law enforcement and even for DC taxpayers (who pay more taxes annually than taxpayers in the entire State of Wyoming and even DC'S population is greater than Wyoming's) to vote in Presidential elections and get the representation they have lacked and deserved for 230 years, amirite?
