If travelling back in time is dangerous because the smallest things could change everything... why does nobody think that small things they do today can the future, amirite?
Nobody thinks about a small thing that might completely change the future because the overwhelming majority of small things won't change the future. It would be like finding a needle in a haystack, and even then, you probably wouldn't know right away that the needle was in fact a needle.
Example: I had a friend who was in a hurry to get home for some reason, so he jumped on his bicycle and headed home. On the way, he was killed when a car hit him. If he had left for home 10 seconds later than when he did, he would almost certainly be alive today.
I don't know what you're saying; you started out with "most small things won't change the future" and then gave an example of when a small thing would drastically change the future?

I explained WHY no one gives small things a second thought, not that it wasn't possible for small things to have a drastic effect.
