I wasn't aware they said how many pieces were on a sandwich but I can tell you this. At my McDonald's they give you two tiny pieces of bacon on any bacon sandwich. However if you order a plain biscuit muffin or bagel. (Or just an egg and cheese item) then purchase a side of bacon you get two full strips for less money than it cost to put the little pieces of bacon on. Be sure to ask for a side not to add bacon. To even be more sure it's best to separate the two with a different item if you're buying one like a hash brown or a drink.
Honestly it might be two pieces.
This was when the Kiosks were still open, prior to covid. They did say how many pieces of bacon come on a sandwich, but it was a slice of bacon cut in half. ( And maybe halves cut in half )
I'd just put bacon bits up in that bitch. "Comes with 50 pieces of bacon."
That's why they pay the marketing department the big bucks!
