Dogs are domesticated to be pets, not leather. Cows are bred to be slaughtered.

Because the leather often comes from a food process. Dalmatians aren't food so it was just murder. There's no redeeming value in it

Because there is more value obtained from that death. You can make leather from cows that died of natural causes poor attacks too.

No really, as none of the leather or fur comes from dogs, which have special status, at least in the West, as companions of humans.

I think it's cuz she wanted to kill "puppies" for their fur. An animal not commonly already killed for meat (in most countries, I think)
