Open corrective surgery to cause an individual to grow taller no matter their age, is a perfect chance for people not satisfied with their natural height, such as 5' 2" or under.

Open corrective surgery is usually done by making an incision over the growth plate, which then hardens back into bone. This allows the rest of the growth plate to grow around that area, filling in the space, for a greater length of the leg bones, thereby causing the person to grow taller.
