Mexico says their biggest ally is the United States. Despite the border dispute due to illegal immigration. In fact, the only reason why Mexico refuses to join the NATO along with the U.S. & Canada is because of border disputes. & NATO membership would open the border to veterans from both sides. That's too much political division for Mexico to say America is their #1 ally. Maybe it's 'top' ally because the U.S. is 'on top' of Mexico on the map, or its 'biggest' ally in terms of size... But #1? That's ridiculous. Except in terms of power & economics compared to Mexico's other allies, amirite?
