"I'm not going to go to college, so I don't need good grades." ...If you ignore your high school education because you aren't going to get a college education, you're going to go into the world with only a middle school education, and that, my friend, is a scary thought. Amirite?
If you realize you’re in the process of being brainwashed, you’re 90% ahead of your fellow classmates. A college degree is pretty worthless these days but I believe it’s important to complete it because it shows you can complete it and that in itself goes a long way. Give your teachers what they want to hear but challenge every single last one of them.
There's going to be certain things that culture will try to force into us our entire lives, not just in school. But that doesn't mean you don't need an education. I'm actually pretty much with you here - if you believe the teacher is indoctrinating a certain viewpoint that you believe to be wrong then, to quote you, "Give your teachers what they want to hear but challenge every single last one of them." (That's my life as a Christian these days, trying to have my religion and live in peace.)

It got so bad at one point in my education I was just handing in shlock that I thought my profs wanted to hear and I would always ace the course even though I felt what I was handing in was truly crap.
You would think after a few failed tests my teachers would suggest something more fitting... As long as these people have jobs i say good for them... But honestly most high school teachers suck anyway, i think i saved myself from brainwashing by not paying attention
