Doesn’t it seem somewhat bizarre to you that dead soldiers, who gave their lives for the country, get one day to be recognized but homosexuals get an entire month for simply being something they admit they have no control over. It smells more of a political agenda than an actual celebration, amirite?

It isn't fair at all. The soldiers who give their lives for the country deserve the month. Gays don't need to feel that special, it defeats the whole point of "normalizing" it anyway. Counterproductive. And it unfortunately promotes the idea of being lgbtq+ for attention rather than because you really are. Like it sounds horrible to say someone says they are gay for attention, but I mean, wouldn't at least some people? They get a whole freaking pride month!
