Who said normal was ever the best way to go, im far from a normal teenager, we all need to find our own personalities and i think that it is good if this 'norm' was considered strange

I dont think human nature is going to change anytime soon, the only way to do so is educate people so that they become more 'open', if you will, to other ideas etc

It seems that human nature is in everyone. It can't be "changed" unless like you said through teaching. That's how it works already though, just some people aren't willing to teach people how to become.. Well.. Social and Open.

i dont think that they are unwilling to teach as such, there are always people that want to educate, it's that people are either too stubborn, proud or just plain ignorant to see the value in learning and opening their minds
