+629 It's not really fair how some people have completely flawless skin while others suffer, amirite?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I have flawless skin but it comes with consequences. For example, I didn't get my period until 14 and I am flat chested... I guess I was a late bloomer.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

how are those consequences??

by Anonymous 12 years ago

14 is a pretty average age to start your period, I don't know how thats a consequence. and boob size isn't that important. so I'd take flawless skin.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

How in the world are those consequences? And what does your period have to do with anything? It's also better if you get it late cuz then you get to be taller, and don't have to experience all the shit at a younger age. But if u consider it a "bad thing", well guess what I also got my period when I was 13, I'm flat chested as well, BUT my skin is shit. I hate my skin so much, and I'm not talking about my face because thankfully I don't have acne and just get some pimples on my forehead and sometimes on the side of my face; but my body skin is terrible: lots of stretch marks (when I was never even fat), I'm hairy I have to shave/wax/bleach everything (not just legs) to finally be able to go the beach, I have this skin condition or something where these spots that remove the hair grow on my arms sometimes and I've been to two skin doctors and I still have no fucking clue what they are.

Well the person with flawless skin may have bad teeth and vise versa. You never know what is wrong with the other person. The grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Life is not fair... just sayin'

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That's life.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Diet affects your skin to some extent as well.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I mean thats true, but some people are just prone to getting stuff like acne and blemishes, so even though you can help control your skin a lot of it is up to genetics.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah I agree that genetics are a huge factor, but diet can definitely help.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeaaaah. Like if a lot of people drank more water, they'd be amazed.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I drink water all the time, yet I have terrible acne and it makes me very ugly.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well then thats just going back to what I was saying before, about some people being really prone to getting acne and whatnot. I mean I know I eat pretty healthily and take great care of my skin but I still get break outs.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Oh boo hoo. Suck it up. Wait for your hormones to balance out and check your diet. If it continues when you're older, go to a dermatologist. Besides, a few of my close friends have acne. It doesn't make any difference.

I like your attitude

It's also not fair that some people have a home and three meals a day, while others quite literally suffer. But yeah, your problem matters too...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

As if only the worst problems are important.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I'm not saying that at all. How you interpret problems are relative, and I don't expect anyone from the developed world to spend every waking moment suppressing their emotions out of guilt. I just think this particular complaint is SO incredibly minor, I couldn't not draw the comparison.

Everyone has disadvantages.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah, and some people have fast metabolism and others suffer, and some people are born heterosexual and others suffer (for now), and some people are born in America while others, in Africa or NKorea or such, suffer, the list goes on forever. Life truly isn't fair.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You know there are at least two first world countries in Africa?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well, since in total there are about 50, it's quite easier for me just to make a little generalisation than list ALL 48 other countries that are poor.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

life isnt fucking fair. get over it bitch.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

How is that unfair in the least bit? It happens naturally... Do you think your body was plotting against you to make you uglier than than the girl next to you?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

The people with flawless skin face consequences in other areas... So yea I think its fair.
