If Protestants reject the authority of the Catholic Church, they they have no way of knowing if the books in the Bible they’re using are actually inspired, amirite?

Have to disagree. I trust God, not the Catholic Church - or any other church - that the books in the Bible are inspired.

But God didn’t bring you the Bible, the Catholic Church did along with Judaism. For example, when Jesus was rising into the clouds after the resurrection, he didn’t turn around and say, “Y’all don’t forget to buy my book!” Why not? Because the Bible as we know it today, didn’t exist at that point. And it simply didn’t come into existence by a puff of smoke either. So the Protestants , who didn’t arrive on the scene until nearly 1,100 years after the Bible was finalized, find themselves in a historical dilemma. To say, “I trust in God.” is a cop out. You could use that to justify everything and anything.

Still have to disagree. God DID bring me the Bible. He may have used the Catholic church, but it was simply God working through them. If God had wanted, aboriginal people could have put together the Bible, which was written by the inspiration of God by Jewish men. No, I can't say I trust in God as a cop out - God gives us a brain, and we are expected to use it. If I walk out into the middle of traffic saying that I trust God is just plain stupid thinking - God will not be used.
But, yes, I'd rather trust God and His word than man's word.

You still have to disagree because you can’t come to terms with what I presented. No, God or Jesus did not bring you the Bible. He didn’t bring you the Bible via FedEx, UPS, or USPS. It came from Judaism and the Catholic Church. There was no New Testament when Jesus was walking around on Earth. And Jesus’s ministry was word of mouth, not a book. Nor did the Bible magically appear out of a puff of smoke. The Bible came out of the Catholic Church not the other around as some Protestants believe or would have you believe. So I ask again, How do you know the books of the Bible are inspired if you reject the authority of the Catholic Church? And when did God specifically tell you that you could trust the Catholic Church during the formation of the Bible but not after? I’ve never heard of this. Is that in the Bible? Where are you getting this information from? Where did this epiphany come from? Expand on this. I’d like to hear more about how God abandoned the Catholic Church after the Bible was formed and then and divided it into thousands of denominations.

I disagree for several reasons. First of all, let me say that as a conservative, I know you are entitled to what you believe, and I'm not about to try to change your mind - your beliefs are yours and that is great. I also am not here to argue with you, so just want you to know that I am not upset in any way, and assuming you aren't either. If you are, then this conversation ends right here.
As you know, both OT and NT were written by Jewish men. And, of course, Jesus life, teachings were word of mouth and example. We learn from his teaching, his life from his disciples, his apostles. Two thousand years later, we are still learning from what these men wrote. If the words they wrote, were not inspired, then no man-made religion inspired them. No church created the books, but churches and councils gradually accepted the different writings/books that we have today.
And, no where did I say God abandoned the Catholic church.
Go to biblica.com and look for the article 'How were the books of the Bible chosen?'
As for me, I don't put much stock in any man-made religion with so many of their man-made rules, ideas, beliefs. My authority is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Even experiences can be deceiving if that experience doesn't line up with God's written word.
There is so much I don't understand - I'm not God.
