If air has a tint, no human will be able to see the true, untainted color of any object, amirite?

i did not need to hear that

Actually we already don't. We only have three color-receptive cones in our eyes, red green and blue. We see those three colors and any color that can be made by combining those three in any way. But we know for a fact there are more colors than that. Which means we're literally colorblind. Nothing in the world is actually the color we perceive it to be.

The mantis shrimp for example has I think 16 different color cones in its eyes. Imagine what the world must look like to them!

@Framie1 Vacuum?

if your eyes were exposed to a vacuum they would pop. if you looked into a vacuum from outside it you would be looking through air.
