I think that gay couples are here to take care of the abandoned babies, or the kids that lost their parents. They can wrap up the loose ends, and give the lonely children a loving home :)

The basic idea I think is that having an extra man around with no children of their own to care for might increase the reproductive fitness of future generations by providing resources that would otherwise be unavailable. I have no idea whether or not this is a respected hypothesis, though.

So why can't they have children of their own? Surrogacy and IVF are a thing. I understand what you're trying to say about gay couples adopting but the way you worded it made it sound like they aren't deserving of having their own biological children and have to settle for anything else.
Oh no, not what I meant. Personally, I think that we should prioritize existing life, instead of bringing more kids into an already overpopulated world. But having a surrogate is your choice, and perfectly fine. Also, please don't call adopted children table scraps. That's really mean.

Well you don't explain and hope that a mutation appears and help them counteracts the extinction. Plus I am pretty sure some species have back up plans if that happens (like clown fish that can change sex if needed)
Side note : I am not an expert, but "too much homosexuals" is rarely (likely never) the reason a species is endangered, so even if you find a way to make homosexuals animals work toward reproduction, it will practically never save the species

There are actually a lot more gay people than you'd think, however China especially is very homophobic, so they repress it EXTENSIVELY. Many gay people just marry the opposite sex and lead a life they don't want to, just to not raise suspicion and fit in as "acceptable"

Illness is its own separate species... It attaches to a host body to reproduce and expand. It's like an animal that feeds off of humans and other animals to survive. Not created by humans, or as a way to control population. Just another species trying to reproduce and survive
