well, no. the sky appears blue because of the reflection and refraction of light through the atmosphere. darker tones, like blue, bounce a lot more so the sky seems blue. lighter ones, like yellow, bounce less, which is why the sun looks yellow.
and as I'm sure you know, that's why some eyes appear blue as well. it's a lack of colouration (melanin) and so the refraction makes a similar effect to what's going on in the sky. being a lack of colour is also what causes it to be a recessive trait, I believe.
we see that light. doesn't mean the sky is physically blue. a cloth can be blue. paint can be blue. it absorbs the colours that aren't what it is, and reflects back one colour. the sky doesn't do that.
Saying it's the sun that cause it so it isn't blue. The sun is the reason we are all still here. So the sky is blue. The grass is green. All because the sun allows it to be so.
But it is, so there's that.
It's not
Ah, but it is. You can measure it with a colorimeter if you like.
Learn science please.

So it's blue, good talk.
For different reasons this is as logical as saying water is blue when it is merely reflecting the sky.
no, it's clear.
Nope, can't see the stars during the day.
Might as well say a green cloth is black with your logic.
you can't see the stars because the sun's light overpowers them.
Exactly, and light is what would allow you to see green for a green cloth.
A rainbow is only a rainbow because of the way light behaves through water droplets.
When the sun's light hits our atmosphere it makes the sky blue 😉

You're confusing pigment and light now.
no, pretty sure that's how colour works... the pigment is the thing that gives an item its colour, right?
The sky is a many-colored masterpiece.
Arya Stark is the many-faced god
I'm colorblind so I don't really know.

But... He's Mr. Blue Sky
