In general humans are getting better but our species used to be totally psychotic, built on murder rape and slavery. Death is the natural way for the human race to erase these mistakes and evolve faster. A longer life means slower evolution...so in a way modern medicine Has unnaturally slowed down human social evolution, amirite?
