I said that I agree bullying of any form is wrong, but public figures need to be aware what they are in for, they shouldn't just expect total positive feedback. Also I agree, some people don't choose to be public figures, but I do think there is a point in which when you achieve fame, to actually commit to being a public figure or not. (like if a yt video of yours get a lot of views, you can choose to use this opportunity to become a youtuber, or not)
To an extent. I still think people should be held accountable for the things they say, and the public figures in question have a right to share as much information as they have on any individuals harassing them

Some people don't choose to become public figures. It should also be a basic rule that everyone should be treated human- famous or not.

I think people that are public figures have made a choice to become a public figure.it does not just accidentally happen
Their parents might have forced them into it
I think the more unpopularopinion that's implicit in this is that a death threat is cyberbullying.
not an opinion
what do you think it is then?
Obviously people will be mean to public figures... that doesn't mean it shouldn't be discouraged. No one would disagree
So basically you're saying "of course that happened. Look at what you're wearing" which is victim blaming.
agree. cyber bullying and that stuff, is of course terrible and we should not condone it, but it's just human nature in action.
