Humans evolved using fire long enough to like the taste of cooked food, but not long enough to have flame resistant hair. amirite?

To be fair, there is nothing better than raw beef or fish. Whereas any root vegetable and many others are better cooked.

what?... evolution doesn't give you comic book super powers

cetaceans evolved to live underwater 52.5 million years ago and dolphins still can't breath underwater

even if humans had used fire for many many millions of more years we would not have developed SUPER ULTRA FLAME SHIELD DEFENSE POWER, especially considering it would be far far far far more likely to just adapt a deeper psychological aversion to fire.

Yeah maybe

Or maybeeee humans would've caught on fire and died enough to where only those of us with flame resistant hair survived. Hard to say

that's hilarious but even in that case, the preexisting gene for baldness would probably just be expressed more often if hair was the primary issue.
