Pascal, in a fragment of his«Pensées» observed that if our condition were truly happy, we should not need to divert ourselves from thinking about it...the sole cause of our unhapiness is that we do not know how to sit quietely in our room.» Perhaps we distract ourselves because doing so makes us us anxious and confronts us with the difficulties ,the fragility and the brevity of life. Do you agee with this statement of a university student saying that: « living a human life is a scary business.»? However,how could we be happy on this« part of heaven»? amirite?
