that everything was made in a hurry Disagree. They spent a lot of takes in one stunt. British HongKong film industry gave their filmmakers a creative control and time. Jackie Chan films back then were focused solely on incredible, practical stunts/choreography, narrative and overall acting second. I can forgive that, and that's JCE team's intention. As an Asian, this is what cinema feels like.

Rush Hour isn't a great movie? Yeah, no! Jackie has done plenty of great films. He's done some really underappreciated stuff in the late 70s. Drunken Master for a start is a classic. The sequel is also great.
