I type and use the phone for a living. I use my keyboard's number pad constantly throughout the day. Whenever I have to pick up the phone and dial a number my brain freezes up for like 3 seconds.

Before grocery scanners were developed, cashiers would ring up your groceries by checking a little price sticker and punching in the price on a register. The speed they used to do that was borderline alarming. Faster yet were the hired folks who came in periodically to take inventory.
